AAADM provides two Certification Training Program for installers and service technicians as a way to improve and promote safety as well as the technologies available from AAADM member companies.
As a prerequisite to taking the AAADM Revolving Door Inspector Certification Program, a candidate must have either worked in the revolving door industry for at least 90 days immediately preceding application for AAADM certification, have taken the factory training course of an AAADM member, and have completed the AAADM training couse and passed a written exam.
An individual who has worked in the automatic pedestrian door industry is one who is directly employed by a company in the industry that sells, services, or installs automatic pedestrian doors as its primary business.
Individuals directly employed by end users, including but not limited to the following, are not eligible to be certified: facility maintenance for retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and building owners. These individuals are able to audit the course.
Once you are certified as an AAADM Inspector, you are able to renew your certification each year by sending in your annual renewal fee.
